Retailer Kmart’s new distribution centre in Victoria will be managed by Toll’s warehousing arm, Toll in2store, under a deal with the transport giant.

The facility is due to open in April next year and will warehouse and distribute apparel and general merchandise throughout Victoria, South Australia, Northern Territory, Tasmania and New Zealand.

Situated at Truganina west of Melbourne near the Princes Freeway, Toll Managing Director Paul Little says the centre will be 76,000sqm.

“Toll in2store will provide a dedicated team to work with Kmart during the design and implementation phase,” Little says.

With a customer base including food manufacturer Arnott’s and sporting brand Nike, Toll’s in2store manages stock, orders and transport requirements.

It also constructs purpose-built facilities for clients, such as the one in Altona North for Nike near Melbourne in 2000.

wow, I would have to agree on that, I heard a few coloured faces have been released from there, only because they didn't either committ to o.t or was absent for one day. what can you do if you can't help but fall sick, or what can you do if something important came up that you just couldn't make o.t it sure is a joke.
